The Daily Post has been reporting on the "sweetheart" deal given to former Chancellor, Ron Galatolo. Yesterday, their headline "Search Warrants in Galatolo Case" expands on this developing story.

I have posted on questionable activities surrounding the Measure G bond measure in 2011. See: Web Link

Does Wagstaffe have anyone on his staff who can effectively prosecute this case?
Galatolo has built himself up to be a "good old boy". Bring in the AG or the Feds.

Committee to Support San Mateo County Community College District - Yes on Measure H I.D. 1344043 paid $236,343.61 to the SMCCC Foundation.

SMC Elections is missing critical pre-election files for that committee. These will likely show a contribution to the campaign from the Foundation.

The former appears to be payback, with interest, for the latter.

It was this type of questionable campaign activity which prompted Darwin Patnode, former Executive Director of the Foundation to terminate his position in June of 2001.

The $236,343.61 paid by the Yes on Measure H committee to the SMCCC Foundation is contained in their 460 filing for the period 10/1/2015 to 11/30/2015.

A $50,000 contribution from the Foundation to the Yes on Measure H Committee was made on 10/9/14 and can be found in the newly recovered 460 filing for the period 10/1/2014 to 10/18/2014.
The SMC Elections Department has not yet recovered the myriad 497 filings for the Yes on Measure H committee.

Questions:
Who made "tax-exempt" contributions to the SMCCC Foundation prior to the $50,000 campaign contribution?
Did they know that campaign contribution would be made?
Was the District complicit in the scheme?
Did the District's use of TBWB, a firm specializing in one-stop shopping for successful bond measure campaigns, prior to Measure H's placement on the ballot constitute "electioneering"?
Was the "work product" of TBWB, paid for with public funds, passed on to the Yes on Measure H committee which also hired TBWB?

IMHO, the DA should ask for Federal assistance with his investigation, for possible RICO violations.

"All 61 Form 497s are now on NetFile, along with additional 460s filed in 2015."

If so, why were they removed?
