No renewal of parcel tax! They already bilked us out of 50+ miilion in measure Z!

Really, the schools are good, but not that good. That district just keeps sucking us dry.

This is really offensive, to ask for renewed money, in the face of this hugely expensive and unnecessary complete rebuild. Why not simply cut that enormous Measure Z budget by whatever number they need to not only maintain, but hey, how about IMPROVE the school district in terms of staff and teaching? It’s no secret that the reason we’ve lost excellent teachers and staff (particularly to Las Lomitas, but elsewhere as well) is due to how the district has been run from the top down. How about we enable our teachers and staff to enjoy teaching again? The series of lousy principals and superintendents has led to staff morale circling the drain. Ask the teachers what they need, and I guarantee a lot of things will be higher on the list than a two story wall of glass for a brand new building they don’t need. Stop threatening the people of PV and their children, and use the money you have more wisely.
