Upside, definitely....The purpose of the added housing units is to REDUCE TRAFFIC because staff and faculty will live within the campus boundaries or within a short distance from the campus.

I'm sure none of them will own a car, nor will they ever have to travel to areas other than those on campus. Just like the rest of us, they'll own cars, they'll need to go places and they will contribute to traffic. Only in Caliunicornia would people believe that added housing wouldn't add any traffic.

I live in Los Altos and going anywhere between the hours of 5-6:30 on Juniperro Serra is ridiculous.
Stanford University?!? It’s more like The Winchester Mystery University! If we don’t keep growing, we’re all gonna die!
