Along with the hiring of a second full-time motorcycle patrol officer to monitor traffic on Woodside's roads, the town's new budget would include funds for an analysis of how to improve things for pedestrians in Town Center.

And what did they spend on the Town Center Area Plan several years ago? And where did that go: exactly nowhere. Let's get a real reporter on Woodside business who can keep up with the political malarky and keep the public truly informed. Potential additional benefit: keeping the council accountable. Right now they are essentially useless because no one pays attention to city politics. Having a reporter who did might wake people up.
