Samtrans should be combined with VTA and a lot of duplicative, wasteful practices eliminated. There are a slew of double length buses cruising up and down El Camino with one, two, or no passengers, and there are no buses at the times people need that go to places that people want. Also, there need to be competent, QUALIFIED traffic engineers running,the agency at REASONABLE salaries, not the inflated salaries paid to unqualified people.

Didn't we just have an increase on the gas tax that was to do the above??? Money, money, money, lets increase taxes more, never enough. Learn to use what you have to spend!!

Before you vote in favor for an additional sales tax, consider all the previous sales tax increases and what they were targeted for and how temporary they were to be. Ask yourself what has happened to all those tax monies. Heed the previous comments about waste and redundancies. There is truth there. Are you seriously going to vote open OUR collective wallets AGAIN to the wasteful bureaucrats who have proven they cannot live within a budget? This is for 30 years folks! Vote NO!
