In an effort to cut down on greenhouse gas emissions, the San Mateo County Transit District board of directors voted Thursday to replace 10 diesel buses with new battery electric buses.

Thats $920,00 per bus.
That's $24,000 per seat.

A Tesla Model S is $25,000 per seat.

By the time these buses get delivered Samtrans could just as well use autonomous EVs.

Doesn't anyone ride buses (I do). They suck. I'll ride in a Lexus or Tesla any day.
