Menlo Park celebrates MLK Day with new name for park

While the nation celebrated the contributions of Martin Luther King Jr. on Jan. 15, Menlo Park celebrated its own national and local hero, Karl E. Clark, who some say stood for many of the same things Dr. King did.

I'm so glad to know about Carl Clark, who, indeed was a hero. I hope there is a plaque in the park detailing his heroism in WW2 as well as his dedication for the work of Dr. King. We all need to know about the good people of our community.
