How was this violent?

What the kid did at Stanford in raping that woman was violent. This is insane, 14 years for stealing material goods and only 6 months for rape?!!!

SteveC is a registered user.

Lets see, numerous convictions,57 years old....... vs a student, first arrest. Yes, rape is violent, and 6 mos. is very short time but lets get real.

10 previous felonies, including one for burglary and another for robbery. What kind of screening does FedEx do before hiring drivers who put it at risk for loss of delivered packages?

The listed stolen materials were worth $3540 ... he threw his life away for that - wow. However, given the prior convictions, he's unlikely to mend his ways. It's a shame, but he hasn't shown he can function properly in society.
