The Almanac article states "The contract with Tetra Tech Inc. is not to exceed $550,000 for the preliminary design of an underground storm-water processing facility that will help control pollution and flooding."

It should be made clear that the CalTrans $13.6 million grant to Atherton covers ALL of the expenses for the Tetra Tech contract -- as well as expenses incurred by our Interwest Consultants, City Manager and Public Works engineers for their work on the project.

This is a very significant flood and stormwater pollution mitigation project which will not only benefit the environment of the Bay, but our residents as well.
