Improving traffic flow: Early results of Dumbarton corridor study

For those locked in traffic as they cross the Bay over the Dumbarton Bridge every day, the time it will take to improve traffic flow by making major changes to the vehicle bridge and the nearby abandoned rail bridge may seem like an eternity.

Could the corridor between Belle Haven/Facebook and downtown Redwood City be opened to rail or bus traffic before 2025? Is that being considered?

Expanding Dumbarton bus service is a no brainer.
However, it may require employer subsidies to get the employees to use it in much larger numbers. The current service is decent, but underutilized. Adding additional lines to Redwood City and Mountain View, as well as Facebook would make a lot of sense.
