Pigs are supposedly smarter than dogs. How about we replace the piglets with puppies

The non-sanctioned "pig scrambles" should be dropped from the rodeo program. They may not be illegal, but they're undeniably CRUEL. And babies at that.
WRITE: Woodside Town Council; email - council.members@woodside.org
Attend the Council meeting on Tuesday, June 27, 7:30pm, and speak up for these abused piglets. This is the last Council meeting before the July 4 rodeo.
[Part removed at request of "Committee for a Humane Woodside."]
San Mateo County Mounted Patrol - Email - info@mpsmc.org; tel. 650/851-8300. Let the Mounted Patrol hear from you! And all the businesses which support the rodeo and advertise in the program. They could make a difference.
Urge the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors to pass an ordinance banning all such animal abuses: animal "scrambles," "mutton busting," "wild cow milking," and all other cruel and non-sanctioned rodeo events: Board of Supes, 400 County Center, Redwood City, Ca 94063; tel. 650/363-1802. The Board meets every 2nd & 4th Tuesday, 9:00 a.m. SPEAK UP FOR THE ANIMALS!

People need to get a grip on reality. Little kids chasing pigs around isn't hurting anyone.
