Man killed by train at Atherton crossing

A man was struck and killed by a southbound Caltrain at the Watkins Avenue crossing next to Holbrook-Palmer Park in Atherton at approximately 10 a.m. Monday, June 5, according to Caltrain spokesperson Tasha Bartholomew.

All train incidents are investigated by the San Mateo County Sheriff Transit Unit not the local jurisdictions. Please get your facts straight.
