What did FedEx expect when they hired a convicted felon to drive around quiet neighborhoods unsupervised? Why did the background check fail?

Why did we not hear about these incidents, APD ?
We can't be on the lookout unless we're forewarned.

That's what happens when you contract out a major part of your business as FedEx does with FedEx Ground. You lose control of some of your standards.

About a week ago I was walking down my street close to 9 PM when a guy wearing a FedEx uniform walked past me on the sidewalk. It seemed odd that he was walking down the street in the dark without holding any packages or without a Fedex truck parked anywhere in site. He walked down a narrow pedestrian path that led to the Alley. I was going to follow him but he kind of gave me the creeps. I wonder if he was the guy who was caught. I hope his photo is posted.

Thanks, Roberto. The guy I saw was caucasian. Maybe there are other FedEx burglars lurking about. Next time I'll call the police.

Gertrude:
perhaps the person you saw was simply walking home from work at Fedex.
