The Woodside May Day Parade was a wonderful event. It always is. And it's the only all-Woodside community event of the year. So why were so many residents missing? The attendance this year was pretty dismal, and certainly disappointing. This is not a Woodside School parade, nor a WHS parade, nor a Mounted Patrol parade, nor a Los Trancos Woods Marching Band parade. IT'S ALL OF THOSE THINGS, plus much more, and the Woodside community should rally behind it to show the strength of our unique and wonderful town.
