And I'll bet the stress was caused by Superintendent Beth Polito. Did the Woodside school board check Polito's work resume recommendations with thoroughness before giving her this prestige job?

And I'll bet "worried parent" doesn't have facts to back up her "question" about whether the school board checked Polito's recommendations or not, or that the stress was caused by Polito. Either back up your claims or keep quiet - false claims are killing our society.

I know from first-hand experience that Polito's skill set leaves a lot to be desired.

I appreciate Ms. Duarte's letter to parents, but I don't believe such personal details about her health belong in a news article available to anyone to read, including future employers.
That's poor judgement from the Almanac.

Maybe if Ms. Duarte & other educators in our area were paid as much as the Menlo Park firefighters, she would not find the need to leave for a more affordable place to live. Our children's minds are in the hands of our teachers & schools
