Holiday hours are in effect for local government, meaning extended closures for administrative offices in Menlo Park, Atherton, Portola Valley and Woodside. School district offices are also closed. Public libraries are taking shorter breaks.

So when DO all these high paid MP city employees work? The city and its residents don't shut down for ten days during the holidays.
