It's really surprising that there are not more of these sad tales. EVERY night (early AM really) we are entertained by motorcyclists and car racers trying to demonstrate their testosterone level by racing down Skyline from Hwy 84 to Page Mill Rd. If they can average 100 mph they can claim membership in the century club. Sadly some of them claim early membership in heaven (well at least we can hope they ended up there.
CHP and the two county sheriff's could stuff the county coffers if they chose to enforce the speed laws on this Hwy section.

Racing along Skyline Boulevard in the late hours of the night into the wee hours of the morning takes place EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. There is no denying what is going on. Everyone trying to sleep can hear the roar of the engines. Yet, nothing is done. This amounts to tacit approval by the CHP and Sheriff. So we turn our heads and another teenager loses a life, another family loses a loved one. Very sad.

We used to live up near Skyline and I remember waking in the middle of the night to roaring engines and high pitched screeches that would chill my heart and make me so worried. We've seen so many cars that have gone over and people have died or were forever disabled. I know it's a great road to "race" on but please don't.
