Menlo Park: Two burglary suspects arrested, thanks to resident's tip

Menlo Park police arrested two teens from East Palo Alto on Thursday (Sept. 1) after receiving a tip from a resident of Oakland Avenue in Menlo Park about suspicious people in the neighborhood shortly before 1 p.m. that day.

Why do people steal? They are almost always caught, especially nowadays what with all the video cams installed everywhere. These two kids' lives are ruined now that they have a police record. Such a shame. And, sad for all of us, that we have to worry about being burglarized. Glad I'm 75 years old and grew up in a safer world than that of the world today.
