Town Square

Trump's FINAL insult to America, the GOP, our military and our fallen heroes

Original post made by Beyond the Pale, Menlo Park: Park Forest, on Jul 30, 2016

Most. Despicable. Politician. Ever.

Khizr and Ghazala Khan told America of their patriotism and love of America, and how their son, Army Captain Khan was killed by a car bomb while serving in Iraq.

It brought tears to any one who watched it. The highlight of either political party, surely the most bi-partisan example of patriotism America can offer - the love of the family of a American fallen in battle.

But to Donald Trump? Most. Despicable. Republican. Ever. He watches it and sees what only a self-absorbed narcissist sees.

ABC News:

"If you look at his wife, she was standing there. She had nothing to say. She probably, maybe she wasn't allowed to have anything to say. You tell me."

But gosh, Donald, their sacrifice is beyond measure....

"I think I've made a lot of sacrifices. I work very, very hard. I've created thousands and thousands of jobs, tens of thousands of jobs, built great structures. I've had tremendous success. I think I've done a lot"

What has Trump EVER done that equals the bravery of this US Army Captain? Trump thinks his sacrifice was inheriting money from his daddy? What has Trump done that allows him to defecate all over this brave patriot's memory and family?

How can anyone ever stoop to saluting this narcissistic sociopath?

Trump needs to be run out of town.

Run out of politics.

Run out of his D-level celebrity reality TV world.

If the GOP continues this farce, they have ceded the moral high ground.

Forever.

And ever.

Bill Kristol
Watch this. Then tell me @realDonaldTrump meets the minimal standards of character & self-awareness to be president. Web Link

Kristol supported Palin, but Trump is too low even for him.

Ted Cruz, as the only Republican to not support Trump comes out the only winner. Paul Ryan, McConnell endorsing and raising money for Trump? Completely lost. Gone.

The only way for Ryan to claim a shred of decency is to abandon the loser Trump, now.

Trump doubles down - I am so offended. I am done with the GOP. Not a soul has the spine to stand up to Trump and call him out for what he is.

Trump has zero knowledge of the world. Now it comes out that his lieutenants are/have been on Putin's payroll as agitators for Putin in the Ukraine and for the Crimia takeover.

And Trump knows nothing!

> TRUMP: Well, look, you know, I have my own ideas. He's not going into Ukraine, OK? Just so you understand. He's not going to go into Ukraine, all right? You can mark it down and you can put it down, you can take it anywhere you want.

STEPHANOPOULOS: Well, he's already there, isn't he?

TRUMP: OK, well, he's there in a certain way, but I'm not there yet. You have Obama there. And frankly, that whole part of the world is a mess under Obama, with all the strength that you're talking about and all of the power of NATO and all of this, in the meantime, he's going where—he takes—takes Crimea, he's sort of—I mean …

STEPHANOPOULOS: But you said you might recognize that.

TRUMP: I'm going to take a look at it. But, you know, the people of Crimea, from what I've heard, would rather be with Russia than where they were. And you have to look at that, also. Now, that was under—just so you understand, that was done under Obama's administration. And as far as the Ukraine is concerned, it's a mess. And that's under the Obama's administration, with his strong ties to NATO. So with all of these strong ties to NATO, Ukraine is a mess. Crimea has been taken. Don't blame Donald Trump for that.

Trump is no idiot. He did the math and decided that there are more Muslim-haters in his base of voters than voters offended by Muslim-bashing. Telling Trump voters to read the constitution is not helpful, because they just don't care.

Trumps FINAL insult? From your lips to God's ears.

The most disconcerting thing is Trumps hiring of Russian lobbyists for his campaign. And that Trump loves Putin anyway.

Too dangerous.

Pence is a tool. He has a half a brain at least, and with Trump, that together gives them half a brain.

A couple days ago, in Michigan, Pence stood up and discussed Obama's convention speech: "The President stood up and he said America is already great"

And the crowd booed.

Yes. The Republican VP candidate said America was already great and was booed.

20 years of Fox bs has killed too many brain cells of the average Republican voter.

Trump is destroying the GOP. Eveyone who supports him, like Paul Ryan, will be tarred with their decision forever. It will require a complete rebuild. Or a new party. Or two.

> Trump is destroying the GOP. Eveyone who supports him, like Paul Ryan,

> Or a new party. Or two.

The Republicans seem to be doing a great job with the Democratic party.

We just ended up with the good-cop-Republicans (the Democrats) and the
bad-cop-Republicans, the Republicans. That way you can make it out like
the US actually has a Republic, Representative Democracy, or a Democracy,
however you want to call it, but the establishment owns both sides of the
debate and there is no citizen involvement other than to rubber stamp one
Republican or the other.

Once the oligarchy got control of the marginal supply of profits to the top,
they just spread it around and buy up, defense, media, agriculture, pharma,
health care. We still can say we have democracy but its really only the 0.1%
who votes on who the rest of us get to vote for.

There is no party that represents the middle class or labor any longer, none.
In fact the both parties just keep hammering regular Americans because they
know they cannot and will not respond. Workers of America are just lumped
together with the third-world workers. Born almost 200 years ago Karl Marx
had it 100% right when it comes to workers and capitalists.

Is it true?

Will it all end, not because of the lies, bigotry, misogyny, lunacy, narcissism, rac ism, selfishness, and name-calling, but because Trump refuses to endorse Paul Ryan?

You're kidding, right?

Well, they are talking about Donald Trump realizing that he has taken the country on
a wild goose chase and quitting.

So, maybe the perfect solution would be to go back to a Democrat and a Republican
running against each other. Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders would fit that bill.
Hillary, the Republican, Bernie the Democrat. And leave to extremists to ponder
why it is that they imploded in negativity.

"Hillary, the Republican, Bernie the Democrat."

Welp, Bill Clinton was the BEST Republican president we ever had, after all.

Balanced the budget, created a budget surplus. Kept us out of wars. Created 23 million new jobs. Stock market took off. Left a surplus for the next president, who stupidly thought we would pay the deficit down too quick and gave it all away in tax cuts to the wealthy - tax cuts in a time of war.

Name another Republican president who balanced the budget.

We'll wait... and wait............

> Welp, Bill Clinton was the BEST Republican president we ever had, after all.

My point exactly ... what we now call Republicans are pretty much like Ante-Bellum
separatists who want to drag the country backwards by declaring war on modernity,
oddly similar to Islamic fundamentalists they declare total war on. There really should
not be any acceptable niche filled by the modern Republicans of today, let alone the
acceptance of their guerrilla tactics and scorched Earth policies.

For all the claims of fiscal responsibility you hit the nail on the head, why is it under
every Republican President we end up with massive debt and financial catastrophe?

The" Hypocrisy" of Clinton's claim to Stand up for Women and Gay rights as they are tortured, killed and mutilated in the name of Religion in many Muslim Countries.

and Then she not only won't stand up for them but she takes money from those Countries for speaking fees.

I'm not a Trump fan, He terrifies me but let's be honest,

I would ask all Women supporting Clinton, "Do they not know or are they willing to look the other way."

Wow - nice try. Blaming Clinton on evil in other countries, and then supporting a party that won't even vote for equal pay at home?

Trump, when asked if hypothetically Fox's Roger Ailes harassed Trump's daughter, replied that he hoped his daughter would be able to find a new job. Way to stand up to evil, Donny!

That's quite a reach assigning Clinton the blame for some foreign nation, when Trump is standing right in front of you with his 3rd wife (the one with the shaky immigration/false visa history back in 1994 when doing her nude modeling.)

Having a hard time accepting our first woman president, much?

It's the misogynists in the fringe conservative wing that will make me really enjoy applauding our first woman president, even more! Yes, 'warts' and all.

Key being how Trump responded to the family of the American hero, Captain Kahn.

Given that many of Trumps team have ties to pro-Russia groups run by Putin, one wonders how Trump can handle world affairs. You think that Trump is up to handLing Putin?

You are in a distinct minority.

I agree Trump is unfit to be president.

I just want to hear from women as to Clinton and her Foundation taking large sums of money from countries that gender mutilate, and apply the death penalty to gays,

and Clinton is silent.

"I just want to hear from women as to Clinton and her Foundation"

1. It's not "her" foundation.

2. I asked my wife. She spent maybe 2 minutes googling about all the Clinton Foundation money that goes to women's causes worldwide in girls education, women's healthcare, AIDS prevention, agriculture, vaccines, etc.. by The Clinton Foundation.

Hundreds of Millions of Dollars annually. Worldwide. In the most important causes.

3. I then asked her about your post.

4. Her response: "ask the troll-ette what she has done to further Women's Rights in the last year.

5. Here we are. I believe it is back to you.

My questions to you:

1. Your reply about your personal actions in the fight against gender mutilation?

2. How is attacking Clinton in such an embarrassing sophomoric and inane way make your day better? I am most curious about your sense of satisfaction.

Attacking HRC on Women's Issues, when her opponent is Donald Trump OF ALL PEOPLE - ha! Seriously, step back and see how peoples faces when you pull that stunt without the mask of anonymity, in civilized company.

I love it when people can't answer a simple question.

This is an important issue so pay attention,

I am not voting for Trump, I don't support him for many reasons.

I am not voting for Clinton because she is a corrupt establishment fraud.

I might have voted for Bernie but he sold out his base for a few shillings.

That being said. Clinton can't run for POTUS on an inclusive rights platform for Women and Gays and not speak out against the worst abusers.

If you can find access to google search countries in the middle east and see which countries have prison sentences and death penalties for homosexual acts, and other barbarian punishments against women including being stoned to death.

Do your homework and get back to us.

The Hillary haters are out! "I am not voting for Clinton because she is a corrupt establishment fraud." So it's not about any one issue - you just admitted you detest her.

Of course Clinton speaks out. You just need to take your blinders off and your earplugs out. Try loving, not hating. Bernie would be proud of you. Remember: Love trumps Hate.

The Clinton Foundation spends HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS annually on great causes including many woman's issues.

My wife asked you before: "ask the troll-ette what she has done to further Women's Rights in the last year.

My questions to you:

1. Your reply about your personal actions in the fight against gender mutilation?

But when they say:

This is a really stupid slogan ... something that pushes your opponent's name

If you like your plan you can keep your plan,

I now pay 60% more than I did a year ago. Had to drop my kids to get their own plans. Now paying $2200 a month, plus $8,000 deductible out of pocket, just for my wife and I. If you need help that's $34,400, plus labs, plus visits, plus prescriptions, plus hospitalization, first 25%. Going up in Nov.

If you like your foreign policy you can keep your foreign policy,

Iran deal ,1 year to Nuclear capability, ransom for hostages, Left the Israelis to fend for themselves.
Isis expanding in Lybia
N. Korea declaring war if US S. Korea have joint military exercises. Attempts at firing ICBM's off Sub. Only matter of time to launch Nuclear.
China conducting military exercises off new man made islands in S. China sea. Declared it their territory,
Allow hundreds of thousands of unvetted Syrian refugees, Per Clapper can't vet and Isis will infiltrate.
and on and on and on. Too many to mention...

Where's Obama? playing his 300th round of golf,

re: "I thought Obama said I could keep my plan and the price won' t go up."

Maybe. And the GOP said they would repeal and replace, yet after 6 years they have not offered a single replacement plan detailed enough to compare. After 50+ repeal votes. And America now has 20+ million covered that weren't covered before.

And the GOP said the ACA would be a job killer, and it most certainly is not - we have had private sector growth EVERY month since the ACA has been signed. Compare that to the Bush Great Recession job record from Jan 08 to Jan 2010.

Web Link

They called the ACA a job killer - FORBES Web Link

A year ago: "Barring an asteroid or the biggest economic surprise in recent history, Friday’s jobs report will be the 60th (now 70+) straight month that America’s private sector has gained jobs.

That’s a new record — but another milestone this month arguably looms larger.

March marks five years since the Affordable Care Act was passed … amid Republican cries that the ACA was a job-killer.

To put that more plainly: The private sector hasn’t lost jobs since Obamacare was officially created.

Were Republicans wrong?"

Yes.
