SMC Elected Officials Please don't Recognize Carlos G. Bolanos as Sheriff.

The reason I am asking this is simple.
The appointment of Carlos G. Bolanos was NOT on the agenda of the Board of Supervisors for July 12, 2016.
I informed the BOS of this yesterday. I am asking every elected official in our County to support the PROCESS.

Supervisor Dave Pine

"The public was completely removed from this process," referring to the rushed and unexpected appointment of Carlos Bolanos to the office of San Mateo County sheriff.
The 3-2 decision to appoint Mr. Bolanos was a surprise,
They dispensed with involving the public in any way in the process.

The elected officials have remained silent so far. They might not know about this because only the Almanac questioned the July 12, 2016 appointment. The rest of the media just said the vote was 3-2 no mention of illegal.

Thank You San Carlos Council member Matt Grocott for being the first to my knowledge for speaking and supporting the process. What is taking the others so long, this is simple
