After both parcel taxes were defeated in a very low turnout election MPCSD was then asked, in the exact procedure provided by the Board's By Laws to place those unanswered questions on the agenda for their June 7th meeting. That agenda has now been posted and it neither acknowledges under the Written Communications item on the agenda that such a communication was publicly delivered to them at their last Board meeting nor are the questions themselves on the agenda.
80% of the taxpayers are paying for a platinum level education for the children of less than 20% of the taxpayers and yet the MPCSD Mission Statement does not even acknowledge the primary obligation of the District to the taxpayers.
At what point will the MPCSD Board realize that MPCSD is a public entity, funded by the public and belonging to the public rather than a quasi private entity operated for the exclusive benefit of the parents, administrators and teachers?
