Surf Air: New flight path will avoid Midpeninsula

Surf Air representatives say they have identified an alternative flight path that would put their planes, and the noise of their turboprop engines, over the Bay during much of their approach to the San Carlos Airport whenever they have clear visibility.

Be aware that the planned turn point and altitude at the Dumbarton bridge is very close to the standard departure route from PAO.

Hey, I have an idea. Let's build 400 new homes right under this approach path, say about one and a half miles from the runway. 400 is also the number of feet altitude Surf Air will cross them at on a 3-degree glide slope.
