Town Square

Last day for Rubio as TRUMP Rolls On To Nomination

Original post made by Are you registered?, Menlo Park: other, on Mar 15, 2016

I thought Menlo Park would be able to vote for the shining young voice of the Republican Party when Marco Rubio came to California for our primary. Alas, no, Marco Rubio has met his high water mark and is now receding into the political oblivion of someone who has shown he was never prepared for high office.

Little Marco, we hardly knew ye!

Donald J. Trump, our GOP presumptive nominee will make his victory speech this evening around 7pm local time.

California Republicans will still be able to cast their votes for our presumptive nominee in June, a lovely way to pledge our fealty to the next president of the United States of America!

Make sure you are registered!

One mustn't miss this golden opportunity to stand up and be counted!

It's going to take a Steak through the heart of that one to end it all.

Assuming there is a heart....

Presumptive? Certainly probable.

We get an idea what the OP above thinks, but what do his fellow Republicans think of when they realize they are going to vote for trump? He scares the crap outta me.

really? -- "It's going to take a *Steak* through the heart of that one to end it all." (Emphasis added)

Rare, medium, or well done?

Pretty sure you meant *stake*, but in this grim era, have to find humor somehow...

STT:

Of all the posters, surely you know a Trump pun when you see it.

Poor Marco - kicked out of politics when he spent a lifetime trying to be one. Nothing but a job for Marco on K Street (lobbying politicians with large suitcases full of cash) for you, little Marco!

Wonder if little Marco's last senate vote will be for the ultra liberal SCOTUS judge that Obama is forcing down our throats? Little Marco never has to worry about getting elected again anyway.

Are you registered?

A vote for Trump will be a vote to stop this nonsense!

Stop the Trolls:

It's no use posting under the 'Are you Registered' name. You're just trying to wind us up by writing nonsense.

The June 7 primary in CA may make a difference - at least for the Republican Party. Whom does local Repulican city councilmember (and state assembly candidate) Peter Ohtaki recommend as the party's Presidential nominee?

really? -- I have NO desire to post under a different screen name. And believe me, I can't reach the level of weirdness that "Are you registered?" reaches -- at least not while being clean and sober...

California Republicans and independents get to vote against Trump before they vote FOR him.

Donald tells the establishment elites and beltway bandits that if they steal his nomination at the convention, his peeps will tear the place down.
