* Police Officers are just doing their job. If you are courteous to them they will return the respect in kind.

* The way the police handle the public is not the problem

"Nothing to see here according to our local experts."

Says who? This deputy's conduct was outrageous.

Now, our illustrious DA probably thinks "there's nothing to see here."

@Menlo Voter - the "Nothing to see here" comment is obviously satire.

Problem here is that it's not just the DA involved in covering up what two witnesses saw in the courtroom. We all remember DA Wagstaffe decided to under charge the deputy.

The sheriff hasn't terminated the deputy's employment. That's inexcusable.

Menlo Voter, I agree with you, every rank and file officer shouldn't get blamed for what happened here, but when the two heads of law enforcement in the county, sheriff Munks and DA Wagstaffe, behave this way, the public loses its confidence in the entire system and the members of it.

kidding:

if only it were true the public loses confidence when the DA and Sheriff act this way. The public stupidly keeps reelecting these two, despite this kind of nonsense.

Good luck to Victim Jose Verdusco,
His attorney Todd Emanuel should depose Chief Deputy District Attorney Karen Guidotti & Undersheriff Carlos Bolanos.

Question them about the phone call they had.

Verdusco “had a pretty difficult childhood and I think that Mar held it against him,” Mar was not the only person that held it against him.
