Local officials roll out storm plans

Warning that rainwater might not be contained if the predicted El Nino storms hit the Bay Area this winter, local officials said they are making a number of efforts to reduce hazards to homes and residents if the volatile San Franciscquito Creek surges out of its banks.

How ironic that during a drought, we now have to prepare for floods.

If it floods near the creek next to he Palo Alto golf course, residents should sue the water board for delaying the construction that was supposed to begin last year on the creek and golf course.

Many fallen trees in the creek bed can be seen along Creek Dr. and San Mateo Dr. where the bike bridge crosses. This debris should be removed as soon as possible. Flood and fire hazards.
