Please don't raise fares, this only hurts the seniors and disabled in our community, who often have no other way to get around town. Ready Wheels and Samtrans disabled transport isn't what it should be. I'm still waiting for a bus that can take me to Portola Valley to visit my friends at the Sequoias, but alas, the only bus that goes there is for school children only I am told. Until you improve your routes east to west, please don't penalize us.

Who in the world does the Samtrans board members think uses the bus? ANSWER: Poor people and seniors! The director of Caltrain/samtrans makes $300K. The board gave BART $500 million for the SF to SFO BART connection. Next, bus routes were cut and fares were raised. Where does it end? Public transit is supposed to serve the public. Cut some salaries at the top. Start with Hartnet, then Simon and finish up with the Maltbie dynasty.
Good lord.
