San Mateo County Corrections Officer Jason Jurow arrested.

Original post made by Michael G. Stogner, another community, on Aug 13, 2015

Jason Jurow, 32, faces six felony charges including being in possession of Xanax at the county jail, according to prosecutors. His charges include bringing a controlled substance into the county jail, selling a controlled substance and possession for purposes of sale, according to prosecutors.

A warrant was issued for his arrest and Jurow surrendered to authorities Wednesday. He posted a $75,000 bail and is out of custody.

He was found to be in possession of Xanax without a prescription based on an initial Sheriff’s Office investigation.

The District Attorney’s Office then took over the investigation and discovered he was in possession of thousands of pills including oxycodone and morphine, according to prosecutors.

Next court date Sept. 14 for a preliminary hearing.

is this related to the Deputy giving the phone to the gangbangers?

are all these dirty cops tied together, or working independently?

If you are asking about Sheriff Deputy Juan Lopez case.

There is no evidence that he did anything like what you just said.

This Corrections Officer has nothing to do with Deputy Juan Lopez.
Please see all stories about these two cases, not tied together.
Deputy Juan Lopez will be shown to be innocent.
