This article reports that Vector Control had not located an infected mosquitoe but "this year" had found 3 infected dead birds. Is that why most residences in Menlo Park will be fogged tonight with a pesticide that does not just shut down mosquitoes? Is this bureaucracy run amuck? How many employees are there in Vector Control. Publish their pay and benefits and pensions.

Yeah!
Let's shut down mosquito control!
Bunch of public workers making a living, protecting our kids. So what if the agency is half the size it was pre-prop 13. Let's put some malathion in each police car. Refills at the bakery - free donuts when they finish a canister.
Get rid of the mosquito loafers!!!
Yeah!
