Former state senator Yee pleads guilty to racketeering charge

Former state Sen. Leland Yee, who formerly represented Portola Valley and Woodside, pleaded guilty in federal court in San Francisco on July 1 to one count of participating in a racketeering conspiracy to solicit campaign contributions in exchange for political favors.

Put the guy away for a long time- So tired of these Politicians getting away with just about anything they want. Make an example out of him- we only know a little about what they can prove - but rest assured it is most likely just the tip of the iceberg.

Gee, what a surprise. He said repeatedly that he didn't do anything illegal. I am shocked the he pled guilty. Got to do the time if you do the crime.
