Man who fled Menlo Park police after ramming car enters plea

A man who rammed a police patrol car last month while fleeing, in a stolen car, from a Menlo Park police officer after a traffic stop pleaded no contest to auto theft charges Wednesday, according to the San Mateo County District Attorney's Office.

I am far from the expert, but every time I read these type of issues, I think the Officer must have less than 5 years in. Good/Bad with that. POGO can correct me, but I believe less than 5 years they do not get the benefits at a City... so the opponents - yes, he should be back at work. The proponents, should he be back - is he really injured and cannot do his job, but knows he/she cannot get benefits. POGO / Peter?

My apologies but I'm not sure what you are asking. This officer wasn't injured.

Are you trying to find out the benefits IF the officer was injured?
