Excerpt:

- A San Mateo County bailiff has been put on administrative leave after reports that he pulled his gun during a court recess on a custodian he was chatting with about the South Carolina cop charged with the murder of a fleeing black man, sources said.

[Part removed. Note that the newspaper is not naming the bailiff because he has not been charged.]

This is a partial story by the SJMN.
I think holding a gun with both hands and aiming at the victims head is much more than Brandishing a weapon.

There is no mention that the victim went to HR to report the incident, then to the Sheriff's Office where he was assured that the deputy is no longer in the building.

He the victim later found out that was not true, there was a second encounter and it involved the gun again.

Why this deputy was not arrested and charged by our District Attorney on Monday or Tuesday of last week needs to be explained.

We need to find out what happened, what caused this deputy to act like this? Have all weapons removed from him until we find out the answer.

How do we assure the public that our Courtrooms are safe? At this moment we can't especially if papers are afraid to let the residents know the truth.
