Today I received two phone calls from the City of Menlo Park with no message. My neighbor received a partial message and thought it said that traffic was backed up at Willow because of lane striping on 101. Time to update the emergency messaging system. It would have been nice to know there was a gas leak nearby.

It was very disappointing that SMC Alerts did not report on this incident.
