Is that the preschool pick up time? Has someone warned Playschool?

That is a very nice car.

Where were all the police if this has become a pattern at the park?
Why not post the address of the get away car, or better yet go pick up the jerk.

As the owner of the car who was broken into on March 27 at 2:00 p.m., I'm glad someone finally stepped up and ID'ed a car and suspect. There were six witnesses who heard the incident but none could ID or describe the thief. I hope it is this suspect is the same person who broke into my car and stole my valuables and I hope he pays (already at 3 felony charges just for my case). After racking up over $10K in charges/damages, I feel he needs to be held responsible.

I'm also in agreement with Ed's comment above, why doesn't Holbrook-Palmer Park up their security and put in a guard and/or cameras? What about an undercover police? This is happening weekly and is pretty easy to deter with a security presence and posting of fliers alerting park visitors of these regularly occurring incidents.

EJ:

how about not leaving valuables in plain view inside your car? If your purse was in the trunk it wouldn't have happened.

Menlo Voter:

It wasn't in plain site. It was hidden in my trunk. The theory is he watched me put it there and hide it. If you saw the follow-up news today, he is a veteran criminal with many prior convictions as well as ties to organized crime. This wasn't amateur hour.

EJ:

my comment was based on the information in the article which said it was on the seat.
