It would be good to see safe and appealing bike and pedestrian accommodation on El Camino. Every bike is one less SUV waiting at the red light in front of me.

Two lanes each direction plus landscaped separation of a bike lane would not only be attractive but consistent with the two lane restriction on north bound traffic in Palo Alto just south of the Creek bridge as well as another two lane restriction at the Woodside Road overpass.

"the two lane restriction on north bound traffic in Palo Alto just south of the Creek bridge"

Wrong - there are five lanes at that point. One right turn, one left turn and three northbound.

Re 2 lane restriction on North bound traffic on El Camino, you challenged this before. PLEASE go look. Rhe google map you're looking it is confusing.

Regardless with Facebooks just announced "world's largest open space office" 12 lanes on El Camino won't be enough.

Yes I did challenge this because it is factually incorrect. And posting the same factually incorrect information after it has been shown to be wrong is inappropriate.

"PLEASE go look"

I have and there are five lanes at that point. One right turn, one left turn and three northbound.

Peter, I couldn't agree more. I'll go look again.

Near sand hill road, google earth does show 3 through lanes for El Camino. There are two on El Camino near Woodside Rd and near both University and Embarcadero in PA.

Googler: There are two on El Camino near Woodside Rd and near both University and Embarcadero in PA.

Frugal: two lane restriction on north bound traffic in Palo Alto just south of the Creek bridge.

Thanks for the clarification.

Peter?

There are THREE unrestricted northbound thru lanes at this location.
