The city should consider making the intersection of Elm and Pope a four way stop. Or at least insist that the school post a stop sign and crosswalk markings at the entrance/exit of the parking lot at Pope St.

A key question -- did the Ravenswood SD have a public bid on the site? Why or why not? How long is the new lease and what are the terms/rate? There were multiple bidders for the Flood Park site before the board backed out of the process. Love to have GAIS in MP, but an open public process is important -- especially for a financially strapped district like Ravenswood.

Is this a permanent home for German-American or just for a year or two?
