Alligator!

It was fun watching Mia on the show. Unfortunately, the show focuses in on the kids who end up making it the furthest so we didn't get to see much of Mia. But she seemed light a delightful young lady. I think it's nice on MasterChef Junior how the kids really seem to rally around each other, instead of being super competitive. It's a heartening show to watch.

Congrats, Mia! Pretty cool, taking a couple weeks and participating in a once in a lifetime event! You probably learned more in those weeks than others will learn in a year - a terrific opportunity.

Cooking is about love, not competition. I hope Mia can retain her love of cooking outside the reality TV vacuum. (In full disclosure, I have not seen MasterChef Junior so I do not how the children are treated, but knowing how disfunctional the adult versions are, the reality of these "reality" shows is pretty harsh.) Keep on cooking, Mia!
