Still can't get over that Munks is still Sheriff, given that he was caught [part removed - he was not charged or convicted] by going into a house with trafficked underaged girls. [part removed.]

@ Holly L - Agreed.
Munks claimed that he & his deputy thought they were going to this run-down suburban Las Vegas house for "massages." No way! Massages are available easily through the hotels & spas. This "house" & its operators had been under investigation for using underaged trafficked prostitutes & Munks was there as a customer when the place was raided. Hardly his finest moment. An LV prosecutor told me that it would have been impossible for a couple of visiting conference attendees seeking legitimate massages to stumble into this brothel. Deals were made on Munks' behalf.
This man is not anyone I want in our law enforcement group. His friends must be very powerful, which makes me suspect his supporters too. [part removed - don't make allegations of misconduct based on hints.] I will never vote for or do business with anyone allied with our sheriff in any way.

The article is about pop 47, not Munks.
Same ol, same ol.... look at a weather report, and the usual suspects are putting notes in the comment section about the sheriff.
Curiosity is getting the better of me, so I'll ask: Holly and downtowner - who did you vote for? Did you write in Sheriff Joe Arpaio?
Glad the prop passed. Time to get drug offenders out of jail.

Arpaio? Never did, never would! The point is why SMC doesn't deserve or can't get an honourable person for sheriff.

Um, Sheriff Bart? Did you read the article? Munks gave an interview to this reporter. He is quoted. He is fair game. Sorry, but I can't respect a Sheriff who visited a brothel for underaged, trafficked girls. [part deleted.]
He should have resigned.
But cowardly, he refused in the recent election to talk to any reporter about Operation Dollhouse. He's a public figure. He's a big boy. If he can't stand the heat, he should get out of the kitchen.

Gotta love a corrupt sheriff who was against this passing, when he himself has been [part deleted - he was not arrested] for something that harms others. When will he leave office? Perhaps by next election a better candidate will be put forward?
Holly - I enjoyed reading your comments.

The problem is that the sheeple of San Mateo County are too self involved to worry about their sheriff [part deleted]. They just keep electing him. Same goes for our DA.
