Funeral services are set for Friday morning, Nov. 21, for John William Bacon, who died at his Atherton home of cardiac arrest on Nov. 13. He was 84, and lived in Atherton since 1963.

I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. Although I hadn't seen him in many years, I have thought of John and his wonderful wife and family often. John was unique. He had a great zest for life and an appreciation of others--a ready enthusiasm--for which he will be long remembered.
