What the h are they hiding?
Why do we give them all these tax dollars for toys they turn off?
I know, lets give them drones and armored tanks, too.
Cameras worn by cops are a great tool to protect the public as well as the police, but when police officers get to turn off cameras, it turns into a situation that just helps them and harms the public. When cameras are turned off in a situation like this, there should be a jury instruction to infer that the cop turned it off because it depicted him in a bad light.
3 turned them off? What are they all hiding? 1 is questionable. 3?
CONSPIRACY.
If true, this reeks of Ferguson and some of the nypd actions ocer the years.
The Almanac can just call the Police Chief of Menlo Park Police and put this to rest right now.
Video cameras on or off that moment?
Ongoing investigation. The chief is unlikely to comment. And Wagstaff shouldn't be running his mouth either.
Whay is MPPD's policy on camera use? That should be public record.
