A work crew responded quickly on Wednesday (Sept. 24) to a call from a Ladera resident pointing out a problem with recently completed roadwork -- but not before another Laderan took photos of the roadway gaffe.

Ladera as the best educated in California and the West seemed well deserved. My street with six homes had five residents with PhDs at one time.
