Well if there is a vehicle accident at the intersection one can only hope for a very minor non-injury accident and with a bit of karma only involving those who voted against the stop signs.

This may come up again if there is an accident. The recommendation of the Staff and Transportation Committee, rejected by the City Council, could go in as evidence on the issue of notice in a dangerous and defective condition of public property action. We shall see.

On behalf of the majority of folks who voiced opposition to the stop signs, thank you city council. Do not expect any gratitude from residents in the area for they are so incensed by their political positions, they wouldn't dare thank you in public. Sad but true.
Don't let the bitterness of the folks who were voted down get you down.
You made the right decision. Intersections with no signage today and with no record of accidents, just became a little safer.
