Who didn't dream about being a John Robert Powers' model in New York City in the 60's?
Ms. Kearton was beautiful.
What an interesting person and what an exciting career!

Actually Ms. Kearton was a Powers Model in the 1940s, not the 60s. She went on to become a well-know writer for TV.

I was lucky to appear on her show(Fun with Fran) to celebrate my birthday in the fifties. I remember the cake that magically appeared out of the fake oven completely cooked. I am 67 and had no idea what she went on to do. I feel fortunate having been one pebble in all the boulders of her life.

My father, Blaine Robinson, was chef at the Menlo Circus Club where Fran was a member. He enjoyed their association and bought one of her water fall pictures that I inherited and so enjoy. She was flattered when I posted a picture of it on her Facebook page. Rest in peace Fran. God bless.
