Let's not forget that the donation of this estate to the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District is part of the ongoing tragedy of the 1976 Chowchilla kidnapping (Web Link
Frederick Woods, one of the perpetrators of the kidnapping, would probably have inherited the estate from his parents (Web Link but instead is still in prison.

All those ideas sound great and will benefit 5,000 residents of PV and maybe a few people in the surrounding communities. Another idea that would benefit far more people would be to sell the property with some deed restrictions limiting growth there and spread the wealth to kids and others in the area who barely know what a 'nature and interpretive center' is.
