Welcome back chief. When is CALPERS going to stop people like you that abuse the CAPERS retirement system. This is why public employees get a bad rap because of people like you that abuse the system. If you are so civic minded, take a lesson from Supervisors Solcom and Horsely. They are retired county employees and don't take a salary, but they have a compensation package. Don't you already have your 960 hours! Don't worry, we reported your conduct to the CALPERS "hot line". May be a fine will be in order. The way we read the new restrictions, your in violation.....arrest yourself!

Hahaha do your research before you put things in print. Calpers has very strict guidelines that are followed by all retires. Calpers tracts your hours and lets you know when your getting close, so there's no way you can go over your hours. Besides have you ever talked to Chief Violet, he is a very nice person not to mention a great Chief. He cares about the public and his officers. Is there a reason, a personal experience that makes you dislike him. I have sat down and talked to him 3 or 4 times and he has always been nice, caring and professional. Please tell me why you dislike him, I don't get it and would like to know.
