In my opinion the PC is doing a superb job in this review and the recommendations being considered tonight reflect a great deal of both thought and citizen input.
After reading the Almanac story please follow the link provided in that story and take the time to read the staff report.

Save Menlo needs to read this proposed recommendation from the Planning Commission:
For El Camino Real and Station Area zones, Human Scale is a goal parallel to “village character,” the latter being relevant mainly to Downtown and Downtown Adjacent zones."
Note - “village character,” the latter being relevant mainly to Downtown and Downtown Adjacent zones."

Stanford/Arrillaga's plan for the new development is 7 times the size/density of the Safeway across the street per Daily Post newspaper 11/19/13.
How do you like them apples Menlo Park citizens? Got traffic/congestion? Think the terrible traffic will get ANY better after it is done?
[Portion deleted.] Superb job on reviewing a MASSIVELY OVERBUILT development?

A grocery store by definition generates much more traffic per sq ft than does an office building.
