John Maltbie to Supervisors $21,000,000 Seaton and SamTrans

This should come as no surprise, Seaton and Daughters of Charity Health Systems funded and staffed the Yes on Measure A campaign, to the tune of $1,500,000 out of a total of $1,751,283.

Maltbie has recommended $11,500,000 to Seaton (This years contribution) and $10,000,000 to SamTrans.

Supervisors will vote Tuesday on this issue.

Potential conflict of interest could exist with Mike Scanlon, and 4 Supervisors being members of Service League of San Mateo County.

Correction, no conflict of interest possible.

The four Supervisors names have been removed from the Service League of San Mateo County's website.

Service League of San Mateo County currently shows no Advisory Board on the website. This is what it showed the last time I looked.

President of the Board of Supervisors Don Horsley's website says he is a Member of the Advisory Board for the Service League of San Mateo County.

President of the Board of Supervisors Don Horsley said.

“I think we made it pretty clear in the election process that we want to make sure all hospitals are seismically safe and it would probably receive substantial assistance from the county. We were pretty transparent and I think we made our case to the 65 percent of voters who approved it,”

I don't know about ALL hospitals, I know Seaton funded and staffed the Yes on A campaign.
