I have no idea why he would have made such a statement. Just remember he is an elected official and there is no oversight of his behavior. Perhaps the Supervisors could look into this and have a special spokesperson speak to families. This was not a secret that one of the girls was struck by an emergency vehicle from the get go. Just a tragic accident.
