Shelly Masur has great creds. She easily surpasses the two Menlo Park City Council Members in qualifications. The first Menlo Park City Council Member is long on ambition and woefully lacking on experience. The second City Menlo Park Council member is long on experience and short on judgment. Shelly Masur is long on experience and long on judgment. [Portion removed.]

I just heard Mayor Keith speak at the San Mateo County Legal Aid fundraising luncheon. She has been volunteering with this organization for twenty years. Her resume of public service is quite expansive (Web Link Ms. Keith was appointed the the Planning in 2004, so she brings over eight years of relevant experience to the board of Supervisors.

Trustee Masur was appointed and later elected to the school board in 2005, but it is not obvious how serving on the school board is relevant to the role of a supervisor. Ms. Masur has very little information regarding her public service (Web Link

Political Watcher say this is a Great article about the Supervisor race, I would say Hardly.

The web link went to an article about Shelly Masur period, it did not cover the other 7 candidates for the District 4 seat. It is highly likely that Shelly is the next Supervisor elected to District 4 and I say that because she is endorsed by the community at 1153 Chess Drive Foster City. They are organized and have 70,000 members and spouses, phone banks, and have a COPE that mails endorsement recommendation fliers to their members. Union members tend to follow the recommendations of their leaders.

Last election a total of 95,664 people voted, how many do you think came from this organized community. That is one of the disadvantages San Mateo County has with at-large elections.
