Why Rush Limbaugh supports Romney

The media is always for sale.

I guess we now know the tenor of this election:

Obama: 'Free enterprise isn't running for president, Mitt Romney is'

"Romney closed over a thousand plants, stores and offices, and cut employee wages, benefits and pensions. He laid off American workers and outsourced their jobs to other countries. And he and his partners made hundreds of millions of dollars while taking companies to bankruptcy.

Although some of the businesses in which he took a stake undoubtedly added jobs, neither Romney’s campaign nor any independent fact checker has supported his claim of producing a net increase of 100,000 American jobs – or even anything close to it.

That is Romney’s record. His overwrought response to questions about it has been to insist that any criticism of his business record is an assault on “free enterprise” itself.

But this is just an attempt to evade legitimate scrutiny of the record on which he says he’s running. “Free enterprise” isn’t running for President, Mitt Romney is.

Between now and November the American people will decide whether to respond to this crisis by electing a corporate raider who profited from – and promises to restore – the conditions that caused it, or re-electing a President fighting to level the playing field for American businesses, restore fairness for consumers and help the middle class reclaim a sense of economic security that will benefit the entire economy. Romney is the wrong guy, I don't care what Rush says... we need a better candidate.

May God save the GOP from Mitt Romney. Now he's even flipflopping on his own job creation numbers as an Outsourcer-In-Chief at Bain:

"As recently as two weeks ago, Romney had a fairly specific number in mind when it came to the jobs created by his vulture-capitalist firm.

“I’m very happy in my former life; we helped create over 100,000 new jobs.”

A few days ago, the total dropped.

“People here in the state know that in the work that I had, we started a number of businesses, invested in many others, and that over all created tens of thousands jobs.”

This morning, the Romney campaign unveiled a new ad, which moved the goal post again. Greg Sargent picked up on the new message:

The ad claims Romney only created “thousands of jobs,” which is the latest shift in his campaign’s claims.

So, over the course of two weeks, Romney has gone from “over 100,000 jobs” to “tens of thousands” to “thousands.” "

Oddly, I feel that Jon Huntsman is the most electable of the bunch in the general.

Romney's list of flip flops floating around is most impressive.

Takes a lot to waffle at that high a level.

But Rush Limbaugh supporting him? No one around hear listens to him anymore, do they? Don't even know what station he's on.

Bain buys Clear Channel so they own Rush for Mitt's benefit, proceed to lay off thousands.

Sums it up.

Maybe that's the way a mind leans after open marriages, and the hypocrisy that envelopes Newt.

When you look at their record, you realize that distinctions people like Newt make in the realm of right and wrong pertain to WHO, not WHAT. For everyone else, actions leading to broken families are sins against the gospel of "family values." For him, well let's face it, it's an act of generosity to share himself -- a man of such uncommon virtue and wisdom -- with more than one woman.

Newt "I hounded Clinton publicly about sex" Gingrich declares that private lives should remain private (now, at least, though not before.)

His 2nd wife told us that Newt told her she could stay if she agreed to an open marriage with Newt and Calista, his office worker. A couple things come to mind:
- the 2nd wife cheated with Newt on the 1st wife while she had cancer treatments in the hospital, so she knew what she was getting
- does this mean that Newt's current deal with Calista is an "open marriage"?

Back to SC - looks like Newt may pull it off today. If so, that means that Mr Inevitable (mitt)will have gone from 2-0 a week ago to 1 - 2 (the recount says he lost Iowa this week.)

The Rovian long knives are going to come out in Florida. There were already some patented Karl Rove dirty tricks this week, courtesy of the Romney campaign, similar to what Rove did to McCain in 2000 (the push-poll: "hey, did you know McCain has a black baby?") Web Link

But as the best tweet of the day warns, don't believe the counts until complete:

"Wait till the Cayman Island precincts come in.... Romney should clean up there...."

Let's see 12 years of tax returns, Mitt, just like your father did. Not a single year that occured during your 5th year of your presidential run, when you took a couple years to manipulate your income sources to make it more palatable to working Republican families.

One year doesn't cut it. Show us 2002 thru 2008.

Sung--You bet it is. The libs biggest shareholder....er, supporter....is trying to buy out the conservative voice, by BUYING legislation to stifle conservative talk shows. Their message can't compete, nobody listens to them, can't get sponsors, so why not just jump up and down and scream "UNFAIR! I'll show you!" So he takes his billions to buy out radio networks, then make significant "donations" to his favorite libs, in return for their votes for the Fairness Doctrine (how ironically labeled by his puppets in congress and the media).

Hill B--Tens of thousands IS 100,000. So are thousands. Just different ways of saying it. What's the problem?
