SamTrans installs 'high tech' fare boxes

New "high tech" fare boxes that accept cash, coins, tokens and paper magnetic-stripe tickets are being installed on SamTrans buses. They can issue a change card if a customer overpays and they will eventually be able to sell day passes.

Tokens, paper tickets, and even cash are so 20th century. SamTrans should be save their money and encourage everyone to use Clipper cards. How about installing Clipper card dispensers at all major transit stops?
